Burnout Among Female Teachers In Malaysia






Results revealed that secondary school female teachers among the other teaching levels (primary and tertiary), as well as young teachers, teachers with less teaching experience, and married teachers with more than two children, are more vulnerable to burnout syndrome in the malaysian situation.. This study is an attempt to survey the burnout level of female teachers in malaysia and determine the likely factors that are associated with this phenomenon. the subjects of the study were 437 female teachers from primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. a demographic questionnaire was used to. Experiencing burnout among teachers. in a study carried out by stevens (2007), it was found that there were statistically significant differences in the the respondents were 14 male and 14 female english language teachers in malaysia. their age ranged between 20 and 50. table 1 shows the demographic information of the respondents. table1.
